12 RootsTech Classes to Keep You Motivated in Your Genealogy
It’s the week after RootsTech 2023 and I’m feeling bummed that it’s over. I love the inspiration that this event provides and the family history high that I’m just now coming down from. I still want to learn all things family history so that’s why I turn to past Rootstech classes to keep me motivated. They have saved several of their video classes on their website for me to go back and watch as many times as I want. They have hundreds of topics in 30 different languages so there’s really no excuse for me not to check it out and see what they have. So in this article I’ll give you a smattering of topics and help you find those classes on their website. So let’s get going.
Where to Find RootsTech Classes Online
It’s extremely simple to find these classes on their website rootstech.org. You don’t even need to sign in or create an account unless you want to save these classes to your playlist to watch later.
First, you go to the On Demand button at the top, then you click either Browse the Library or Search for a Video. That’s it! Now you type in your topic and away you go.
Now if you want to save that video to watch later, then click on a video. Scroll to the bottom and you’ll see a Add to my Playlist button. Click on it and sign in if you haven’t already, and then it will be added to your playlist. Or you can click on the plus button in the top righthand corner of the video.

Aren’t these great? It’s getting me excited all over again! I just want to drop all of my other responsibilities and just watch these all day. And these are just a few of the hundreds of classes that they have in their video library. Isn’t RootsTech awesome?! I love it! I personally can’t get enough of it. But does that mean I do every single thing that these videos tell me to do? No! But it doesn’t stop me from watching as many as I can. So how about you?
